By accessing or using CourseForge AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
CourseForge AI is an AI-powered course design platform that helps Instructional Designers create performance-based learning solutions. The service uses AI to generate needs analyses, learning objectives, activities, course outlines, and full course content.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use this service
- One account per person — sharing accounts is not permitted
4. Credits and Payments
- Credits are consumed when you generate AI content
- Credits are non-refundable once used
- Subscription credits reset monthly on your billing date
- Unused credits do not roll over to the next month
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
5. Refund Policy
- Credits that have been used for AI generation are non-refundable
- If you have not used any credits in the current billing period, you may request a full refund within 7 days of payment
- You can cancel your subscription at any time — you will retain access until the end of your billing period
- Refund requests should be sent to support@courseforgeai.app
- We reserve the right to issue refunds at our discretion for exceptional circumstances
6. Fair Use Policy
CourseForge AI is designed for legitimate corporate Instructional Design work. To ensure fair access for all users, the following fair use guidelines apply:
- Enterprise plan: Unlimited credits are subject to fair use. Automated or bulk generation exceeding 500 API calls per day may be throttled or reviewed
- All plans: Credits are intended for genuine course design work, not automated scraping, reselling, or bulk content generation for third-party distribution
- Abuse prevention: We reserve the right to suspend accounts that show patterns of abuse, including but not limited to automated generation, credential sharing, or circumventing credit limits
- Commercial use: You may use AI-generated content commercially — for client work, internal training, or resale as part of your own L&D services
- If you have high-volume legitimate needs, contact us at support@courseforgeai.app to discuss custom arrangements
7. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use CourseForge AI to:
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates any laws
- Attempt to reverse engineer or scrape the platform
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the service to compete directly with CourseForge AI
- Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
8. Intellectual Property
You own the course designs and content you generate using CourseForge AI. We claim no ownership over your generated outputs. However, we retain ownership of the platform, prompts, and underlying technology.
9. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
CourseForge AI uses artificial intelligence to generate course designs. While we strive for quality and accuracy, AI-generated content should be reviewed and validated by qualified Instructional Designers before use. We are not responsible for errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in AI-generated content.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CourseForge AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 3 months.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your billing settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of significant changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
